While many dietitians want you to eat whole foods, drink & consume sweets in moderation, and eat balanced meals regularly… many dietitians are also “foodies”.
What’s a foodie, you ask? The dictionary says “a person who enjoys and cares about food very much” or “a person having an avid interest in the latest food fads”. Absolutely true. I think the best dietitians are a combination of both. If a dietitian doesn’t enjoy food, how can they help you improve eating habits while still enjoying meals? And of course we have to look into the fads so we can help you avoid them
